Today’s show is dedicated to a very special section of the population- FIFO workers. Fly-in Fly-out and Drive-in Drive-out workers are subjected to some of the harshest conditions that can be both physically and mentally testing. Long hours, isolation from friends and family, and limited access to healthy and nutritious meals, are just some of the problems faced on a daily basis. So what can you do when work seems to dictate the exact opposite methodology to that which we know is good for us? Develop better coping strategies and that’s what we’re going to chat about today. Here to discuss his book about how we can develop an effective, maintainable and, most importantly, a delicious nutrition strategy based on evolutionary biology is FIFO worker, qualified Lifestyle, Food and Wellness coach and author of ‘FIFO: There’s a healthier way’ Steve Hord.
